Masauti began his vocation in Mombasa. This is the point at which he began visiting the studio to simply go with his companions and he got some interest in music.
He began his vocation as 'Mswazzi Masauti'. He at that point moved to Nairobi and got some acknowledgment and got endorsed by Tedd Josiah.
